Corpus Christi, TX – Marcos Colunga, 23, Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Alameda St near Ennis Joslin Rd

Corpus Christi, TX (July 5, 2023) – One person lost their life after a collision occurred in Corpus Christi late Tuesday night, July 4. Police from the Corpus Christi Police Department report the incident occurred at around 9:20 p.m. between a car and a motorcycle. 

According to reports, the crash happened near Alameda Street and Ennis Joslin Road. A vehicle reportedly turned left in front of a motorcycle, resulting in the motorcycle colliding with the vehicle. 

Marcus Colunga, 23, lost his life in the collision. The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him Wednesday morning. 

The driver was charged in connection with the collision, according to reports. 

Authorities in Corpus Christi continue to investigate the details of the accident.
