Bishop, TX – Crash with Injuries Reported on US Hwy 77
Bishop, TX (January 17, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the site of a car crash that occurred in the Bishop area. Calls for help came to the Bishop Police Department on January 15.
According to official reports, an automobile accident took place on the southbound side of US Highway 77. The incident prompted the closure of the southbound lanes as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. A black pickup truck involved in the accident overturned and came to rest on its roof. Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to care for the injured victims. Those who required further medical attention were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
