Corpus Christi, TX (December 21, 2020) – This past Sunday afternoon, December 20, a fatal head-on car accident took three lives and injured two children on a roadway in Corpus Christi. 

The crash occurred just after 12:00 p.m. along FM 665. According to investigators, an unidentified vehicle struck an SUV head-on that was carrying a driver and three passengers. 

Both vehicles were thrown into a field and caught fire. Two individuals who lost their lives in the crash were passengers in the SUV. They were identified as 31-year-old Amber Madrano and 22-year-old Jacklyn Espinosa, both from Corpus Christi. 

The driver of the other vehicle also died in the crash but has not been identified at this time. Two children, ages 2 and 8, were transported to Driscoll Children’s Hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
