Corpus Christi, TX – Auto Collision Ends in Injuries on Hwy 37 near Cenizo Ave

Corpus Christi, TX (May 25, 2022) – Police and other responders were called to the scene of an auto accident in Corpus Christi on May 17. Just before 10:00 a.m, the crash happened on Highway 37. 

According to reports, the wreck occurred on Interstate Highway 37 near Cenizo Avenue between two vehicles. A 2010 maroon Nissan and a 2012 white International collided in the area for reasons still being determined by police. 

The driver of the International was injured in the crash, reports stated. Paramedics rendered emergency aid to the injured victim at the scene and transported them to a local hospital for further care. Their identity has not been released at this time. 

Authorities in Corpus Christi continue to investigate the details of the incident. Traffic was delayed in the area while responders were present, and police asked local drivers to use alternate routes of travel for the time being.
