Corpus Christi, TX – Auto Wreck with Injuries on Hwy 358

Corpus Christi, TX (October 3, 2020) – At around 12:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 30, a traffic collision between two vehicles prompted an emergency response from local first responders including police and paramedics. 

The incident occurred on State Highway 358 between a 2006 maroon Lincoln and a 2005 gold Chevrolet. It was stated in the police accident report that the driver of the Lincoln, a 22-year-old female, was unable to control the speed of her vehicle which directly contributed to the collision. 

The 22-year-old Lincoln driver sustained injuries in the wreck and was transported from the crash site to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 52-year-old female, was also injured and is receiving treatment at an area medical center.

The nature and magnitude of their injuries have yet to be determined.

The Lincoln driver has been charged with causing the crash.  

No further information has been made public at this time.
