Corpus Christi, TX – Auto Wreck with Injuries on S Alameda St near Austin St

Corpus Christi, TX (August 3, 2022) – A car wreck in Corpus Christi caused injuries and traffic delays on July 27. Just before 3:00 p.m., police with the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to the scene of the accident on Texan Trail. 

Responders were sent to the crash scene located on South Alameda Street near Austin Street for reports of an injury accident. Paramedics treated one or more victims before being taken to area hospitals for further care. 

Currently, the involved individuals have not been identified. Police in Corpus Christi is still working to determine the cause of the incident. 

Traffic was backed up in the vicinity of the accident scene for some time after the collision occurred. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victims. 

No further information has been reported.
