Corpus Christi, TX – Car & Semi Collide at Everheart Rd & Staples St
Corpus Christi, TX (January 19, 2021) – A car and semi-truck accident took place on a roadway in Corpus Christi on Tuesday, January 19. The driver of the car was sent to the hospital with injuries.
The two vehicles were involved in a collision on the SPID ramp between Everheart Road and Staples Street. The crash occurred just after 2:00 p.m. Due to the collision, part of the sedan got stuck on the trailer of the semi.
The driver of the sedan was identified as a 40-year-old man. He was transported from the crash scene via ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. His injuries were deemed non-life-threatening in nature by medical professionals who responded to the scene.
The incident remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time.
