Corpus Christi, TX – Fatal Car Accident on Saratoga near Sanders
Corpus Christi, TX (March 1, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred on Friday, March 1 on a roadway in Corpus Christi. Information provided by authorities stated that a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided for reasons still under investigation.
Sources indicate that the pickup truck was headed west on Saratoga near the 4500 block when they attempted to turn south onto Sanders near the 6400 block. A motorcycle being driven by a 21-year-old male was headed east near the 6400 block of Saratoga at the same time, and the two vehicles collided.
The 21-year-old male was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries deemed life-threatening in nature. He later passed away. His identity has not been disclosed to the public at this time.
According to authorities, he was ejected from the bike. The driver of the truck stayed at the scene in order to render aid and cooperate with authorities.
This accident remains under police investigation.
