Corpus Christi, TX – Major 5-Car Wreck on Airline Rd near Lowes

Corpus Christi, TX (October 5, 2022) – A major vehicle collision occurred on Thursday, September 29th in Corpus Christi. At around 8:05 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of an auto accident on Airline Road. 

Reports show that the wreck happened on Airline Road near Lowes Home Improvement Center. Five vehicles were involved in a pileup that injured four individuals. The cause of the incident is still under police investigation.

The vehicles involved were a 2020 blue Dodge, a 2010 gray Mercedes-Benz, a black 2018 Chevrolet, a 2009 blue Mazda, and a 2022 black Mitsubishi. Reports show that one of the vehicles was speeding and caused the wreck.
