Corpus Christi, TX – Man Crashes into Whataburger, Injures 1 Person on Cimarron Blvd & Saratoga Blvd

Corpus Christi, TX (May 18, 2022) – A vehicle crashed into a Whataburger on the morning of Tuesday, May 17 in Corpus Christi. One man was injured during the collision, according to reports. 

Initial information from local officials states that the single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Cimarron Boulevard and Saratoga Boulevard. A woman was attempting to back out of a parking lot when her foot slipped and hit the gas. As a result, she collided with the side of the Whataburger building. 

Two or more people sustained minor injuries while one man incurred moderate injuries. The building sustained severe damages due to the wreck. 

The driver sustained no injuries in the accident. Police continue to investigate the details of the crash.
