Corpus Christi, TX – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Injures One Person on S Staples St near Williams Dr

Corpus Christi, TX (April 12, 2021) – A two-car crash resulted in injuries on the evening of April 5. At approximately 7:40 p.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the wreck located on South Staples Street. 

When officials arrived at the scene, located in the 5300 block of South Staples Street near Williams Drive, they found that one person had been injured in the collision. The two vehicles involved were identified as a 2009 white Pontiac and a 2019 green Chevrolet. 

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 44-year-old female, was reported to have been hurt in the crash. EMTs assisted her on-site before transporting her to an area hospital for further treatment. No one involved has been identified at this time. 

Authorities in Corpus Christi continue to investigate the details of the incident.
