Corpus Christi, TX – One Dead, Several Injured in Head-on Collision on SH-285

Corpus Christi, TX (December 6, 2022) – One person lost their life, and several people were injured after a head-on collision in Corpus Christi on Tuesday, December 6. The accident was reported to officials in the area, who promptly responded to the scene. 

According to reports, the incident happened when a silver Nissan was headed west on SH-285. For reasons unknown, it was involved in a head-on crash with a Ford F-250. The driver, identified as Nathaniel Lucas Ghidoni, 43, of San Antonio, lost his life due to his injuries. 

Several other people were hurt in the crash. Their names have not been reported at this time. 

The roadway was blocked for an extended period of time while police and paramedics worked to secure the area. Local drivers were asked to find alternate routes of travel for the time being.
