Corpus Christi, TX (November 23, 2022) – One woman lost her life in a car crash that occurred late Thursday night, November 17, in Corpus Christi. The 37-year-old female was driving her car when it flipped and struck a metal pole. 

Reports concerning the crash state that it happened on South Padre Island Drive. The woman was traveling west on Highway 358 of Kostoryz Road when for unknown reasons, she swerved onto the access road. 

Both she and her male passenger, age 41, were thrown from the car. The woman was pronounced deceased on-site. The male passenger was transported from the scene to the hospital with injuries.

Neither of their names has been released at this time. Police in Corpus Christi continue to investigate the details of the incident.
