Fatal Texas Car Accidents
Losing a spouse, child, or another person that you love is truly devastating. Sadly, a loss of this magnitude may feel even more difficult to bear when it happened due to the negligent actions of another person.
If you have recently lost a loved one due to negligence, you probably have the right to pursue financial compensation by filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the negligent party.
Wrongful deaths are caused by the negligence, action, dereliction, or inaction of an entity or person. These fatalities include those resulting from improper or untimely medical care, traffic collisions, premises liability incidents, and defective or dangerous products.
If you are able to prove, with the help of a skilled attorney, that the responsible person behaved in a manner that was careless, reckless, or likewise, and, had they demonstrated due care, the accident, and resulting death would not have taken place, you will be able to collect financial compensation to help cover the costs related to the accident.
In Texas, spouses, children, and parents of the deceased are entitled to bring a claim of wrongful death on behalf of the victim.
A wrongful death attorney in Corpus Christi can help you determine if you qualify for financial compensation. If you know your crash was not your fault, you may qualify for financial compensation to help pay for vehicle repairs, mental health care, medical bills, and more.
