Corpus Christi, TX – Pedestrian Hurt in Crash near Everhart & Saratoga

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (December 22, 2020) – A male pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a car on December 17. The crash occurred at an intersection in Corpus Christi and was responded to by local police and paramedics. 

The incident occurred in the vicinity of the intersection of Everhart and Saratoga at approximately 7:00 p.m. How and why the accident took place remains unknown at the current time. 

Police stated that the 66-year-old man was attempting to cross Saratoga Boulevard when a passing vehicle struck him. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene in order to render aid and cooperate with the police. He stated that he did not see the man attempting to cross the roadway.

The injured pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries. His current health condition is not known at this time.
