Corpus Christi, TX – Police Deputy Involved in Traffic Collision

Corpus Christi, TX (October 21, 2020) – In the evening hours of Sunday, October 18, a traffic collision involving a red sedan and a police vehicle occurred at the intersection of Staples Avenue and Everheart Road. 

According to authorities, both the the driver of a red car and the police vehicle were at a green light turning left in order to head north on Staples Avenue. 

The deputy and the red vehicle collided on Staples Avenue. The accident is currently being investigated by local authorities. 

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the wreck in order to render aid to those injured in the crash, however, it remains unclear how many people required medical aid at the crash site. 

No one involved in the incident has been publicly identified at this time. 

No further information has been released concerning the crash or its surrounding circumstances.
