Corpus Christi, TX – Sarah Rowshan, Lee Roy Saldiva Killed in Fatal Crash

Corpus Christi, TX (August 23, 2020) – A fatal car accident occurred on a roadway in Corpus Christi this past Thursday afternoon that took the lives of two individuals. 

The incident occurred on Thursday, August 20 at approximately 3:33 p.m. when for unknown reasons, a Volkswagen Passat attempted to pass multiple vehicles in a no-passing zone on US-59 and crashed into a Ford Focus head-on. 

The driver of the Passat was identified as 50-year-old Sarah Rowshan. She was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. 

The driver of the Ford Focus was identified as Lee Roy Saldiva, a resident of George West, aged 53. He was transported to Spohn Beeville Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

The crash is currently being investigated by DPS. 

No further information has been made public at this time.
