Corpus Christi, TX – Student Hit by Car at Wildcat Dr & Buddy Ganem

Corpus Christi, TX (December 15, 2020) – On the morning of December 10, a student at Gregory Portland High was hit by a car when they were attempting to cross a roadway in Corpus Christi. According to official accident reports, the student was in the crosswalk at the time of the collision. 

Police stated that the crash occurred in the early morning hours of December 10 for reasons still under investigation. The student was crossing at the intersection of Wildcat Drive and Buddy Ganem when he was struck by a vehicle. 

The name of the injured accident victim has not been released at this time. He has only been identified as a male student at Gregory Portland Highschool. 

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of the injuries he sustained in the collision. The Portland Police Department as well as other first responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision. 

The driver who struck the student stopped to render aid and cooperate with authorities after the accident, according to a local news source. No other information has been provided at this time.
