Corpus Christi, TX – Three Hurt After Vehicle Drives into Marina near Waters Edge Park

Corpus Christi, TX (June 13, 2022) – Three people were sent to the hospital with injuries after a single-vehicle crash happened in Corpus Christi. The collision took place on Sunday, June 12. 

According to information from reports, a car drove over the sea wall and into the Corpus Christi Marina near Waters Edge Park. What led to the crash remains under police investigation at this time. 

The Corpus Christi Police Department reported that three people inside the car at the time of the wreck were rescued and transported to an area hospital in serious condition. Their identities have not been released. 

Authorities believe that intoxication may have been a factor in the incident. They are working to determine the details of the crash. 

Currently, no further information has been reported concerning the accident or its surrounding circumstances. Responders were at the scene for a prolonged period of time on Sunday working to help the injured victims and clear the area.
