Corpus Christi, TX – Three Hurt in Two-Car Accident on Park Road 22/South Padre Island Dr

Corpus Christi, TX (March 12, 2021) – An auto accident involving two vehicles occurred on Saturday, March 6 in Corpus Christi. Reports indicate that the wreck occurred at about 12:21 p.m. 

According to information provided by officials, a silver 2020 Jeep and a silver 2018 Nissan were involved in a collision on Park Road 22/South Padre Island Drive. 

Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department and paramedics were dispatched to the scene in order to render aid to the injured parties. Reportedly, three people were hurt in the crash. Patients who seemed to require extensive treatment were taken to local hospitals via ambulance. 

The presence of emergency vehicles and responders on the roadway resulted in extensive traffic delays in the area. Drivers were asked to use alternate routes while crews were on site. 

Police in Corpus Christi continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
