Corpus Christi, TX – Three Injured in Crash on South Staples near McArdle Rd

Corpus Christi, TX (February 27, 2021) – An auto accident that caused injuries took place on a busy roadway in Corpus Christi on Monday, February 22, at around 1:42 p.m. 

Sources stated that the two-car wreck occurred on South Staples Street in the 4000 block near McArdle Road. The factors contributing to the cause of the incident have not been established. 

A 2020 gray Toyota and a 2019 white Buick were involved in the accident. Two individuals present inside of the Toyota at the time of the collision as well as one person in the Buick were said to have sustained injuries.

Those who were hurt were medically assisted at the scene by paramedics. They were then transported by ambulance to local hospitals. 

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. South Staples Street was closed while responders worked at the scene. Traffic delays resulted for some time after the wreck occurred.
