Corpus Christi, TX – Two-Car Accident Leaves One Injured on Ayers St near Blevins St

Corpus Christi, TX (March 29, 2021) – At around 8:20 p.m. on the evening of March 23, two vehicles were involved in a collision at an intersection in Corpus Christi. Paramedics along with police were dispatched to the scene of the crash in order to assist those involved. 

Reports state that the accident occurred between a 2020 black Jeep and a 1995 blue Chevrolet in the 3100 block of Ayers Street near Blevins Street. The driver of the Jeep was reported to have sustained injuries in the crash. 

Paramedics rendered aid to the injured victim at the scene, identified as a 57-year-old female. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as a 57-year-old male, did not sustain any injuries in the accident. 

Corpus Christi Police continue to investigate the details of the incident. Traffic delays were observed in the vicinity of the crash site for sometime after the incident took place. Local drivers were urged to seek alternate travel routes while emergency crews were present.
