Corpus Christi, TX – Two-Car Crash Injures One on Ayers St near Lawn St

Corpus Christi, TX (February 2, 2021) – An injury crash took place on a roadway in Corpus Christi on Wednesday, January 27. Reports state that the rear-end collision happened at approximately 7:20 p.m.

A 2001 green Ford and a 2013 maroon Hyundai were involved in the collision in the 2300 block of Ayers Street near Lawn Street. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as a 34-year-old female, was injured in the crash. 

The Ford’s driver was identified as a 27-year-old man who was not injured in the wreck. Sources indicate that the Ford backed into the Hyundai for currently unknown reasons. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation by local law enforcement. 

The portion of Ayers Street where the accident occurred was closed for several hours afterward. Responders worked to clear the wreckage while police investigated and paramedics medically assisted the injured party.
