Corpus Christi, TX – Two-Car Crash Injures One Person on Gollihar Rd near Carroll Ln

Corpus Christi, TX (July 21, 2021) – Two vehicles were involved in a fatal collision on Saturday, July 17 in Corpus Christi. The wreck occurred at approximately 4:41 p.m. for reasons still under police investigation. 

According to reports, a 2006 silver Ford and a 2008 white Dodge were involved in a collision near the 3500 block of Gollihar Road near Carroll Lane. It is believed that the wreck was caused by one of the vehicles’ failure to control speed. 

Injuries were reported to have resulted from the crash. At least one person was transported from the scene by ambulance in order to receive treatment for their injuries at a local hospital. 

Traffic delays ensued in the area for some time while responders worked at the scene. Drivers passing through were forced to find alternative routes for the time being. 

No one involved has been identified at this time. Our thoughts are with everyone affected in hopes of a full recovery.
