Corpus Christi, TX – Two-Car Wreck Injures 1 on Leopard St near Nueces County Courthouse

Corpus Christi, TX (May 11, 2022) – A car crash was reported in Corpus Christi on the afternoon of May 5. The wreck resulted in injuries, according to information from officials. 

Sources reported the incident to police at approximately 4:00 p.m. Two vehicles, identified as a 2017 white Dodge and a 1999 white Chevrolet, were involved in a crash in the 900 block of Leopard Street near the Nueces County Courthouse. 

One person present in the Dodge, a 61-year-old female, sustained a serious injury in the collision. She was treated on-site by paramedics before being taken to an area hospital for further care. Her identity has not been released at this time. 

What led up to the incident remains under police investigation. Two other people in the Dodge, identified as a 17-year-old female and a 17-year-old male, were not injured. A 24-year-old male present in the Chevrolet also remained unhurt in the wreck. 

Both vehicles were damaged in the collision. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
