Corpus Christi, TX – Two-Car Wreck on Lipan St at Mexico St

Corpus Christi, TX (February 28, 2021) – An auto collision resulted in injuries in Corpus Christi on February 22. At around 11:00 a.m., two vehicles collided at an intersection for reasons still under police investigation. 

The crash happened at the intersection of Lipan Street and Mexico Street between a 2015 Gray Mitsubishi and a 2014 White Jeep. According to reports, two people sustained injuries in the collision. 

They were identified as the 74-year-old male driver of the Mitsubishi and a 23-year-old female passenger present in the Jeep at the time of the crash. Their names have not been disclosed. 

The injured parties were medically assisted at the scene of the incident before being taken to local hospitals for further evaluation and treatment as needed. The intersection was closed while responders worked to clear the area and assist injured parties. 

Police in Corpus Christi continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
