Texas Auto Crashes

Texas car crashes happen every single day. On average, the state sees over 400,000 yearly auto accidents that injure and take the lives of thousands of people. Each day, about 10 people lose their lives in auto accidents in the state, which is equal to a fatal crash taking place about once every two hours and 35 minutes. Texas is among the top three states in the nation with the most car crashes reported per year, along with Florida and California. Sadly, about 3,000 people lose their lives in Texas road accidents every year.

Auto collisions happen for a wide array of reasons, from vehicle malfunctions, road construction, and bad weather, to driver negligence and error. Currently, the main cause of car crashes in the Lone Star state is speeding. Speeding is a dangerous form of driver negligence that leads to tens of thousands of fatalities every year in the United States. In fact, from 2002-2007, over 13,000 people lost their lives per year in speeding accidents. Currently, about 11,000 individuals are killed annually in car crashes caused by speeding drivers. Other forms of driver negligence, such as distraction and intoxication, also contribute to tens of thousands of yearly deaths in the United States.

If you or someone you love sustained a serious injury in a car crash, you should consider how and why the accident occurred. If you believe the wreck was the fault of another person, pursuing legal action is in your best interest. Driver negligence is illegal in the United States, and those who commit this selfish and dangerous act need to be held accountable. If you were hurt in an accident caused by the actions of a negligent driver, you deserve to be compensated for the losses and damages that stemmed from your accident. Almost 100% of the car crashes reported in the United States are caused by some form of driver negligence. Speeding, intoxication, distraction, and fatigue contribute to millions of auto collisions every single year. When we consider this fact, it is likely that your crash was caused by driver negligence.

Despite the type of negligence that caused your wreck, you deserve financial compensation to help you recover. Victims and their families often suffer a great deal after serious injuries are needlessly caused by the carelessness of other people on the road.
