Corpus Christi, TX – Two Injured in Boat Crash near JFK Memorial Causeway

Corpus Christi, TX (August 19, 2020) – A boating accident reported in Corpus Christi sent two victims to area hospitals with injuries. On August 14, crew members from the Corpus Christi Fire Department responded to the scene of an accident, alongside Nueces County and ESD #2.

According to reports, a boat crash took place just three miles south of the JFK Memorial Causeway. After receiving notice that an accident occurred, crews arrived at the site and began to look for the victims at the site of the crash. Both victims were located in the water with injuries. Both people were rescued and pulled to shore. Medical personnel rendered aid to victims at the site of the crash before transporting those in need of care to area hospitals for further treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
