Fatal Car Accidents in Texas
Every year, more than 17,500 people are seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents throughout the state of Texas. Head-on collisions place victims at an increased risk of suffering life-altering injuries due to the direct impact of these accidents. Here in Texas, a large percentage of accidents are caused by drivers who disregard stop signs and traffic signals at intersections. These accidents not only leave victims to deal with mental and physical consequences, but the financial impacts of lost wages, medical treatment, and vehicle repairs often extend to the entire family of each victim.
Many victims injured in car accidents require hospitalization and extensive medical treatment for their injuries. Thousands of people are left permanently impaired as a result of their injuries and are forced to deal with ongoing pain and suffering. Regrettably, many victims never overcome their injuries. In fact, more than 3,600 people end up passing away each year due to Texas traffic collisions.
