Harlingen, TX – Two Killed in Fatal Roll-Over Accident on S Tyler Ave

Harlingen, TX (July 15, 2020) – According to local authorities, two individuals lost their lives and another individual was injured when an SUV collided pick-up truck on Tyler Avenue in Harlingen.

The crash took place at approximately 11:00 p.m. on the night of July 14 when a white truck headed east on Tyler Street struck a gray SUV headed north on Eye Street.

According to eye-witness reports, the force of the crash caused the truck to flip over on its roof and lose its two front wheels.

The driver of the SUV and their accompanying passenger were killed in the collision and pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

The truck driver was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical personnel for treatment of injuries of an unknown magnitude.

More information will be released regarding the circumstances of the accident, though currently nothing else has been disclosed.
