Laredo, TX – Crash Ends in Injuries near TX-359

Laredo, TX (August 3, 2020) – A train crashed into a vehicle this past Friday morning and left a woman and three children with injuries.

The incident occurred just off of Highway 359 around 11:00 a.m. near 280 La Coma Rd. The Webbs County Sheriff’s office stated that a KCS train headed west and a southbound truck collided at the crossing at Botello Road. The reason for the collision remains under investigation by local authorities at this time.

A woman and three children were transported to a nearby medical center for treatment of their injuries. Their identities have not been released at the present time.

The vehicle involved in the crash sustained significant damages. There are no further details available regarding the circumstances of the collision. An investigation will be carried out by local authorities.
