Nueces County, TX – Train Strikes Public Works Vehicle Causing Injuries

Nueces County, TX (August 29, 2020) – This past Thursday at approximately 3:00 p.m., a train and a car were involved in a collision that sent one person to the hospital. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 44 and County Road 93 when for reasons still being determined by local police. A Nueces County Public Works vehicle and a train collided injuring one man.

The man, who remains unidentified at this time, was transported to a nearby medical center for the treatment of minor injuries. No other injuries were reported to have resulted from the collision. 

The reason the crash took place is currently under local law enforcement investigation at this time.
