San Antonio, TX – Car Accident with Injuries on I-10, Katy Fwy at Farm to Market 1516

San Antonio, TX (February 21, 2021) – A major motor vehicle accident occurred on an interstate in San Antonio’s east side on February 18. Sources state that the crash happened at approximately 11:35 p.m. 

Three left lanes of Interstate 10 were blocked due to the collision that took place at Farm to Market 1516 Road. At least one person sustained injuries in the wreck. 

Police and emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene in order to medically assist those with injuries and investigate the surrounding circumstances of the incident. Patients in need of medical care were rendered aid at the scene. Those who required additional treatment were taken in ambulances to area hospitals. 

The portion of the interstate where the collision took place was closed while responders were present. Traffic delays were observed in the area for several hours after the crash took place. 

Police continue to investigate the contributing factors of the accident.
