San Antonio, TX – Car Collides with Occupied Ambulance on Babcock Rd 

San Antonio, TX (November 19, 2020) – An ambulance operator from San Antonio was one of three victims who were hospitalized on Wednesday, November 18th after being involved in an accident on the city’s north side.  

Officers from the San Antonio Police Department reported that, at about 1:00 a.m., a grey sedan collided with an ambulance transporting an elderly woman as it waited at a red light at the intersection of Wurzbach Road and Babcock Road. 

Police stated that the driver of the sedan was reportedly speeding when the accident occurred. The driver also required emergency extraction following the incident.  

The ambulance operator, the elderly woman, and the driver of the sedan all sustained injuries and were transported to various hospitals for emergency medical treatment.
