San Antonio, TX – Crash Involving 18-Wheeler Causes Injuries on I-35

San Antonio, TX (August 16, 2020) – A major motor vehicle collision involving a semi-truck occurred this past Thursday, August 13 in San Antonio, on Interstate 35 near West Theo Avenue in the afternoon. 

The 18-wheeler reportedly caught fire amidst the wreckage. The accident blocked traffic in the southern and northern lanes of the interstate for a period of time. The lanes were closed just before the US 90 exit. 

It is currently unclear at this time how many people sustained injuries in the wreck. Paramedics were observed at the site of the crash, though the severity of any injuries suffered also remains undisclosed at this time. 

No one involved in the accident has been identified as police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
