San Antonio, TX – Fatal Accident on S. WW White Rd

San Antonio, TX (February 17, 2021) – One person was killed and another has been hospitalized after a weather-related accident in San Antonio on Saturday, February 13th.

The accident took place near a Dollar General at the intersection of Retta Street and South WW White Road.

Police reports state that a blue Mitsubishi was heading southbound on WW White Road as a Chrysler on the same road was heading northbound. As the Mitsubishi attempted to make a lefthand turn into the Dollar General, it failed to notice the oncoming Chrysler and the two cars crashed into one another, almost head-on.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 73-year-old man, and his passenger, a 44-year-old woman, were both transported via ambulance to the Brooke Army Medical Center where the woman died a short while later.

Her identity has not yet been released.

The driver of the Chrysler was unharmed during the incident.
