San Antonio, TX – Fatal Collision on Loop 410 near Villamain Street

San Antonio, TX (July 26, 2023) – A fatal traffic crash happened in San Antonio in the early morning hours of July 26. At approximately 6:45 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision near Roosevelt. 

Authorities report the wreck took place along Loop 410 and Villamain Street. The collision involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle that collided for reasons that remain unclear at this time. 

All eastbound lanes of Loop 410 were closed while emergency responders worked at the scene, causing significant traffic delays. Drivers were urged to use other routes until the crash was cleared from the roadway. 

It is unknown whether the deceased victim was on the motorcycle or inside the vehicle. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the wreck.
