San Antonio, TX – Fatal Hit & Run Pedestrian Involved Crash on Perrin Beitel near Sun Gate Dr

San Antonio, TX (May 26, 2021) – Police in San Antonio are investigating a hit and run pedestrian crash that happened on the evening of May 25. At approximately 9:30 p.m., police and EMTs were sent to the scene in order to assist the injured victim. 

According to reports, the accident occurred on Perrin Beitel near Sun Gate Drive on the northeast side of San Antonio. Sources state that a  60-year-old man was struck by a vehicle. He then lost his life due to the collision. 

The vehicle that struck him did not stop to render aid or wait for authorities to arrive. It is believed that the vehicle was either dark red or black with front-end damage. 

Police blocked traffic in multiple directions while investigators worked to discover the contributing factors of the collision. No further information is available at this time.
