San Antonio, TX – Head-On Collision on W. Commerce St

San Antonio, TX (November 08, 2020) – One person was killed and another hospitalized when a man driving a stolen vehicle crossed over the centerline of West Commerce Street and collided head-first with another car near the Western Park intersection.

Police reports indicate that eyewitnesses extricated the injured driver from a 2018 Camaro, and immediately administered life-saving first aid.  

Emergency responders arrived on the scene and, when resuscitation attempts proved futile, pronounced the man dead at the scene.  

The driver of the second vehicle, a Jeep, was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries including possible broken bones.
