San Antonio, TX – Head-On Crash Takes One Life, Injures Two Others

San Antonio, TX (August 4, 2020) – An auto crash on the far south side of San Antonio took place this past Saturday night that took the life of one individual and left two others with injuries.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Pleasanton Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. on August 1.

According to the Bexar County sheriff’s office, two unspecified vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection for unknown reasons. One vehicle was headed west and the other was headed east when one of them crossed over the middle line and caused a head-on collision.

One man, who remains unidentified at this time, lost his life in the crash. Two other people, a man, and a woman, who are also unidentified, were transported to Southwest General Hospital with injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening.

Few details are currently available concerning the circumstances of the accident as police continue their investigation.

On the evening the crash took place, the intersection was blocked off in order for police to carry out a preliminary investigation. It has since been reopened by local authorities.
