San Antonio, TX – Major Car Accident on Hwy 281 near Thousand Oaks
San Antonio, TX (June 12, 2023) – All lanes of a highway in San Antonio were closed after a major traffic accident on Monday morning, June 12. A collision involving multiple vehicles occurred on US Highway 281.
The southbound lanes of the road were closed near Thousand Oaks, and traffic was backed up on the highway and the access road. At least one individual suffered injuries in the collision, reports said.
Multiple responders remained at the crash site for an extended period of time while emergency crews worked in the area. No one involved has been identified at this time.
Authorities in San Antonio continue to investigate the details of the accident.
