San Antonio, TX – Major Car Accident on Hwy 90 at 36th St Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

San Antonio, TX (August 4, 2021) – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department said that at least one person was killed in a deadly car accident that occurred on Tuesday evening, August 3.

Emergency crews reportedly shut down the westbound lanes of Highway 90 around 8:00 p.m. The crash happened near 36th Street on the west side of San Antonio. News footage showed three vehicles pulled onto the side of the highway along with another car that had rolled over at the scene. EMS units were also dispatched and appeared to transport at least one victim to an area medical center.

Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the wreck but have not released further details about those involved. Their investigation is ongoing at this time.
