San Antonio, TX – Major Car Accident on I-10 near I-37
San Antonio, TX (March 8, 2023) – A car crash was reported to officials in San Antonio on Wednesday evening, March 8. At approximately 6:40 p.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the collision on Interstate 10.
According to information provided by local officials, the accident occurred on I-10 near Interstate 37. Traffic was delayed back to South Walters Road while the scene was occupied by first responders.
Police, EMTs, and fire crews worked on the roadway for some time on Wednesday evening in an effort to determine the cause of the wreck and help the involved individuals.
Those with injuries were treated and taken to local medical centers by ambulance. The extent of their injuries has not been reported at this time.
The roadway was closed while crews worked in the area, resulting in moderate delays in traffic.
