San Antonio, TX – Man Killed After Being Hit by Car on I-10

San Antonio, TX (October 17, 2022) – A man lost his life after he was struck by a car on a roadway in San Antonio. The man was ejected from his SUV during a collision on I-10 on San Antonio’s east side. 

Police in San Antonio stated that the man was driving his GMC Yukon in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Hackberry around 7:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, the man was involved in a crash and was thrown from his vehicle. 

He landed in the main lanes of the highway and was struck by a white Toyota Camry. He was pronounced deceased on-site. Authorities stated that his passenger suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital. 

The man’s identity has not been released at this time. Authorities in San Antonio continue to investigate the details of the incident.
