San Antonio, TX – Officer Injured When Vehicle Runs Red Light, Causes Accident at W. Military Drive and Hwy 151

San Antonio, TX (November 29, 2021) – An officer with the San Antonio Police Department was hospitalized after his patrol car was struck at an intersection on San Antonio’s west side on Sunday, November 28th.

The accident took place at about 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 151 and West Military Drive when a vehicle jumped a red light and crashed into the side of a police SUV.  

The officer was taken to the hospital. His condition is listed as stable and he is expected to make a full recovery. 

The driver and passenger from the striking vehicle were also transported to the hospital. Their current conditions are unknown.
