San Antonio, TX – One Injured in Hit-&-Run Crash on Grant Ave
San Antonio, TX (April 22, 2024) – The San Antonio Police Department confirmed that one person was injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on the city’s North Side during the evening hours on April 19.
Official reports indicate that a gray Nissan Armada was traveling north on Grant Avenue. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Alametos Street, it collided with a brown Buick Lacrosse. Authorities confirmed that the Nissan had the right of way at the time of the accident and that the Buick driver disregarded a stop sign. The force of the collision sent the Nissan into the curb, causing it to spin around and strike a retaining wall.
The Nissan driver, a 30-year-old woman, sustained injuries in the crash. The Buick was rendered inoperable due to the collision. However, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.
