San Antonio, TX – One Person Loses Life in Loop 1604 Collision

San Antonio, TX (September 11, 2020) – A traffic accident took the life of one 26-year-old man on Wednesday, September 9. 

The wreck occurred around 6:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Blanco Road just before highway 281. According to the police report, two drivers were involved in a wreck after hydroplaning due to heavy rain. One driver lost control of their vehicle and caused the collision according to police who responded to the call concerning the crash. 

One man, who remains unidentified at this time, required extrication from his vehicle by fire crews. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the wreck by medical professionals. 

No one else involved in the crash has been identified at this time. 

The severity and scope of any injuries suffered remains under investigation by local law enforcement officials at this time.
