San Antonio, TX – Pedestrian Fatality on I-35Texas Accident News
San Antonio, TX (December 07, 2020) – A woman in her 20s was killed when she was struck by a car along Interstate 35 in San Antonio on Monday, December 7th.
Reports show that the accident took place at about 3:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 at the exit for Recio Street.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered the woman lying in the roadway. Emergency medics attempted life-saving measures, but the woman was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department stated that the victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was on the interstate when she was struck.
Several witnesses stopped and attempted to help the victim before police were on the scene.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
