San Antonio, TX – Two Injured in Two-Car Crash on Roosevelt Ave near E Southcross

San Antonio, TX (December 19, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries after a 2-car crash on the South Side of San Antonio. Police reported the accident happened at approximately 1:25 p.m. 

Reports made to authorities stated the accident took place in the 2700 block of Roosevelt Avenue near the intersection with East Southcross,

Information provided by officials shows a man in his 70s was driving his tan sedan when he crashed head-on into a Mustang that was traveling in the opposite direction. The man was then trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. 

The driver of the sedan was transported to University Hospital by ambulance where he is listed in serious condition. A female passenger in the Mustang was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Mustang driver’s condition has not been reported at this time. 

Police continue to investigate the details of the crash.
