San Antonio, TX – Victim Extricated Following Judson Rd Accident

San Antonio, TX (October 29, 2020) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-car collision to extricate a man who was trapped inside his vehicle on the northeast side of San Antonio on Wednesday, October 28th.

According to preliminary reports, the accident took place at about 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Judson Road, near Interstate 35 when a minivan and a red sedan crashed into one another when one of the vehicles veered out of their lane.

Police stated that, as a result of the impact, the driver of the sedan was trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. He was transported via ambulance to University Hospital with injuries leg and head. His current medical condition is unknown.

The San Antonio Fire Department, San Antonio Police Department, and emergency medical services all assisted at the scene.

The driver and three children who were inside the minivan were unharmed during the incident.
